CCTV Witness is a neutral, always-on record of what happened at your counter, your handover point and your cash desk. It seals each clip so nobody — not staff, not customers, not even you — can change it after the fact. When something goes wrong, you get a timestamped answer you can trust.

A runner says he gave the order. The customer says he never got it. The witness shows the moment the plate left the counter.

Is the record complete?

Every saved clip is sealed with a timestamp and a tamper-check. If a camera was blocked or dark, the system says so — it never pretends to know.

Does it match your billing?

Only after the video is frozen does the system compare it with your POS and runner records. You see corroborated, conflict, or unknown — never a guess.

The problem with ordinary CCTV

It records everything and proves nothing, because nobody has time to review hours of footage.
A customer dispute, a missing plate, or a cash mismatch becomes a shouting match with no neutral record.
Even when you find the clip, you cannot say for sure that it was not deleted, edited, or recorded while the camera was blocked.

What makes it a witness, not just a camera

Independent. The witness layer does not bill customers, deduct runners, or decide HR action. It only records what it can see.
Sealed. Every event clip is locked at the moment it is saved, with a tamper-check stored outside your premises.
Fail-closed. If the view is blocked, the light is bad, or the camera is down, it answers unknown — never a confident lie.
Event-driven. It captures the seconds before and after a handover or dispute trigger, not endless silent video.
Joined after sealing. Video is compared with your POS and runner data only after the evidence is frozen, so the picture never influences the bill.

Common questions

Can it identify a customer or staff member by face?

No. Identity comes from your scanner, runner band or POS assignment. The witness only confirms that a person was present in a covered zone at a given time.

Can it count exact plates or money?

Exact quantity and money come from your billing system and physical count-preserving gates. The witness gives visual corroboration only, and says unknown when it cannot see clearly.

What happens if a camera goes down?

A camera outage is recorded as a source incident. It does not create blame, deduct a runner, or invent a story. Anything that happened during the outage is marked unknown.

Can the video be deleted or changed?

Once an event is sealed, a tamper-check is stored outside your premises. If the clip is changed, the seal breaks and the system reports it.

Do I need your POS or runner system?

It works best when joined with SparkSol Billing and Runner System, but the witness layer stays independent. It can also watch handovers and counters on its own.

Who can view the evidence?

Only authorised managers can open sealed event packets. Every view is logged, so the evidence trail stays clean.
