How Inventory Tracking Works
for Your Restaurant

Know what’s in stock right now. Get alerted before you run out. See how much each dish actually costs you. Here’s how.

Step 1

All raw materials configured — milk, rice, chicken, oil, everything

We set up every raw material your kitchen uses — with units (kg, liters, pieces), categories (Grains, Meat, Dairy, Spices, Packaging), and minimum stock levels. Up to 100 items configured.

📦
Raw Materials Setup
Material list: Basmati Rice (kg), Chicken (kg), Mutton (kg), Cooking Oil (liters), Milk (liters), Onions (kg), Tomatoes (kg), Spice Mix (kg), Disposable Containers (pieces). Each with unit, category, minimum stock level, and storage location.

Step 2

Delivery arrives — scan barcode — verify quantity received

When a delivery arrives, your staff scans the barcode label. The system shows what was ordered vs what was delivered. If the vendor sent 8 kg of chicken instead of 10, the shortage is flagged immediately. No more trusting the delivery person’s word.

📡
Delivery Verification
Delivery verification screen: Ordered 10 kg Chicken, Received 8 kg — SHORTAGE flagged in red. Ordered 5 liters Oil, Received 5 liters — OK in green. Staff confirms received quantities. Vendor invoice attached for reconciliation.

Verify deliveries — shortages caught at the door

Step 3

Dashboard shows stock levels in real-time

Open the dashboard on your phone or tablet — see exactly what you have. Rice: 45 kg. Chicken: 12 kg. Oil: 8 liters. Items below minimum stock are highlighted in red. You know what to order before you run out.

📊
Live Inventory Dashboard
Real-time stock: Basmati Rice 45 kg (green), Chicken 12 kg (yellow — order soon), Mutton 3 kg (red — below minimum), Oil 8 liters (green), Milk 4 liters (yellow). Color-coded by status. Last updated 2 minutes ago.

Step 4

Product-to-material mapping — know how much each dish uses

We map each dish to its raw materials. One Chicken Biryani uses 300g rice, 250g chicken, 50ml oil, 20g spice mix. When you bill 30 biryanis, the system auto-deducts 9 kg rice, 7.5 kg chicken. You see actual vs expected consumption — and spot waste.

🍳
Consumption Tracker — Product-to-Material Mapping
Chicken Biryani recipe: Rice 300g, Chicken 250g, Oil 50ml, Spice Mix 20g, Onion 100g. Today sold 34 biryanis. Expected consumption: Rice 10.2 kg, Chicken 8.5 kg. Actual: Rice 11 kg, Chicken 9 kg. Variance: Rice +0.8 kg (possible waste flagged).

Every dish mapped to raw materials — waste spotted automatically

Step 5

Low-stock alert on WhatsApp — never run out during service

When any material drops below its minimum level, you get a WhatsApp message immediately. “Mutton is at 3 kg — minimum is 5 kg. Order now.” You see it on your phone, call the vendor, and restock before service starts.

📴
WhatsApp Low-Stock Alert
WhatsApp message to owner: “Low Stock Alert — Mutton: 3 kg remaining (minimum 5 kg). Chicken: 4 kg remaining (minimum 8 kg). Milk: 2 liters remaining (minimum 5 liters). Restock before evening service.” Sent automatically when levels drop.
